Van Morrison

Der in Belfast geborene Van Morrison hat es sich und seinen Fans im Laufe seiner Karriere nie leicht gemacht. Zuletzt machte er zusammen mit Eric Clapton mit Verschwörungsgedanken in der Coronakrise auf sich aufmerksam. Auch war Morrison in den frühen 80ern kurze Zeit Mitglied bei Scientology. Der alte Grantler hat es mir mit seiner Musik und seiner Stimme aber schon seit seiner Them-Zeit angetan. Im Laufe der Jahre kamen deshalb so einige Alben von ihm in meine Sammlung. In den letzten Jahren war der 78jährige ungemein produktiv. Nicht alles was er da herausbrachte konnte mich so richtig überzeugen. Aber seht selbst.
